1. Use the supplied dropper to wet the stain with 2 to 3 drops of the liquid that comes in the kit
2. Remove the biological material from the stain by rubbing the wetted area with the provided cotton swab
3. Cut the ends of the swab off and place into the empty vial that comes in the kit.
4. Put 20 drops of the liquid onto the swab cuttings in the tube. Close the top and shake for 60 seconds.
Place 4 drops of the liquid into the round sample well of the test cartridge. Put any remaining liquid in the dropper back into the tube. This liquid may also be used for possible DNA testing afterwards.
A positive test result for the presence of semen is indicated by a red line directly under the T which will also be accompanied by a second line under the C.
